Welcome

Mrs. Vamvas has been a teacher for the past fifteen years.  She did her student teaching at Gisler Elementary and Cox Elementary in the Fountain Valley School District.  Mrs. Vamvas was then hired to teach second grade at Gisler Elementary.  Over the past fifteen years she has taught first grade, second grade, and is currently teaching third grade.   She feels very fortunate to be working with such an amazing group of educators.  Mrs. Vamvas attended Cal State University Long Beach and received a degree in Liberal Studies. She continued her education there and received her teaching credential.  Mrs. Vamvas also has taken multiple classes in English and language development as further professional development.   She is extremely passionate about teaching reading and writing as these are important foundational skills.  Mrs. Vamvas truly enjoys teaching and helping build upon each student’s unique academic foundation.
