Welcome

Mrs. Hebel has been an educator for over 13 years. She taught a year at Peabody Charter School in Santa Barbara, working with 2nd and 4th grade students. Mrs. Hebel came to Fountain Valley in 2004 and has taught at Gisler Elementary School for 12 years. She is proud to be part of such a talented group of educators devoted to enriching students' lives. While here, she has taught Kindergarten, 3rd, and 4th grade. Mrs. Hebel attended college at the University of California, Berkeley, where her love of education and teaching developed and grew. She continued on to the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned her teaching credential and Masters of Education degree with research focused on the impact of a positive classroom environment on student success, both academically and socially. Mrs. Hebel views teaching her students as a terrific responsibility and blessing, and is thankful to be part of a wonderful school and community.
